Adding refs to existing citation

Please have a look at this thread about multiple references within a citation:

APA format for multiple citations should look like this: (Ask et al., 2014; Cuijpers, 2005; Joling et al., 2014; Kiecolt-Glaser et al., 1991), but when I format in google docs it gives this: (Ask et al., 2014); (Cuijpers, 2005); (Joling et al., 2014); (Kiecolt-Glaser et al., 1991). When I remove the parentheses, they just reappear when I format again. Any suggestions?

Just click ‘Edit citation’ and add citations using the dialog.

At the moment there is no way to “unformat” the citations, but it has been requested before and we think about including it.
