Allow multiple search strings in the "Insert citation" popup

I often have to convert plain text citations [e.g. (Smith 2006; Doe 2010)] into paperpile citations. If I copy a plain text citation which contains multiple semicolon delimited citations and paste it into the “Insert citation” popup I get no matching results. Instead, I have to manually enter a single citation per search before Paperpile will find the matching reference. This makes the insertion of multiple citations a lot slower and more cumbersome than it needs to be.

It would be great if Paperpile could recognise the citation delimiter used by the current citation style (e.g. “;”) and treat searches which contain the delimiter as separate queries. For example, searching for “Smith 2006; Doe 2010” should return matches for both “Smith 2006” and “Doe 2010”.
