The button for manual citations has disappeared a couple of weeks ago for me. I figured I’d give it some time to come back but no luck.
When you sign up for the web-app at https://paperpile.com the button is not there anymore because you can (and should) add new items via the web-app.
Is there a good reason not to have both? It’s frustrating to have to keep opening the webapp to do something that used to be so much easier. Doesn’t make any sense to me that it should remove a feature once you sign up for the app.
Failing that, can I un-sign-up for the app so I can get the button back?
I get that most of the cool features come with the subscription, but manual citing? It is one of the few features you can benefit from.
