Suggestion for metaPDF (I can’t find it in the archives):
Upon hovering on a citation, show the reference text, either as mouseover text (like Skim does), or to the side of the text (like sciencedirect does). This would avoid jumping to the references with no real way to go back to the same point, a major disruption to reading!
Since I see that the citation is currently highlighted and linked to the reference, it should be possible to fetch the actual reference text and show it as mouseover text, no?
