Support developing world researchers

Scholars from Sub-Saharan Africa access have a real challenge to access academic and citable material for their research. I work with many in West African states who are trying to understand important topics in health, education, development. They are clever and passionate. But they cannot easily access and sort the literature in their field, to create high quality research that will enable their conclusions to be respected.

Can we have an optional feature where emerging economy scholars, who usually don’t have access to payment systems or the ability to pay $36 a year, could request a donated subscription to paperpile ? Or that development literature could be accessed without cost ?

Yes, definitely. I’ll contact you via e-mail with more details.

We have no official plan or program at the moment but we have given everyone in this or similar situation as you describe for African scholars a discount or a free license.
