Adjust PDF page number to actual page numbers of the article in the journal

Welcome to our forum, @hbflyte! Are you finding the numeration in your files is often not accurately displayed/detected by our viewer? I don’t think we’ve been able to implement manual input so far, so I will add your +1 to the topic on our tracker for the team’s consideration.

Hi! Wanted to echo the hope for manual page number entry. Often the page numbers on my document annotations are off by 1 for me and would love to be able to change that myself. Thank you!

How can I access/find this feature? It is quite important to have correct citations, with the actual page numbers of the article, not of the PDF.

Has this problem been solved? Because it doesn’t work for me, my annotations have the PDF page number, not the article page numbers. I recently bought the Academic plan I now I am quite bummed that the most crucial part of a reference manager isn’t working properly.

Is there a plan to implement a manual override of the automatically generated page numbers? I.e. when they are off by a page (or not happening–it still seems a bit hit-and-miss depending on the age of the PDF).

Relatedly, it would be nice if the page numbers were included in Plain Text or, especially, Markdown export as that would make it easier to work with them in Obsidian and such.
