Currently, there are fields for both full and abbreviated journal names. However, even more often than the journal, I would like to be able to abbreviate the conference name. Conference names are often longer than journal names, e.g.
“2012 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation” which usually gets cited in papers as simply ICRA, e.g. “in Proc. of ICRA’12”. Would it be possible to have abbreviations for both conferences and journals (that then get exported to BibTeX just like for journals)?
