In the last two months, all recent documents with citations have been corrupted. Word plugin is up to date. Tried reinstalling. The citations are registering as citations, since when I try to edit the citation, it will not allow it to be fully highlighted. However, the numbers and connected citations in the references do not match. When I can edit one, if I delete a reference for a citation to fix it to what it should be, it deletes later citations of the deleted reference. It is completely unusable.
Welcome to our forum, @kcb, and I’m sorry for the trouble. To resolve these issues for you, please send us the Word plugin log file for one of your recent documents. The easiest way to find the log is through the Paperpile ribbon in Word > Settings and Tools > Send Debug Information. This will reveal a folder with a file named paperpile-logs.txt that can be shared with our Word specialist for further investigation. Send the file to support@paperpile.com and we’ll be happy to troubleshoot with you directly.
