When highlighting in the PDF viewer, the minus signs don’t appear to be captured, rendering the text annotations incorrect. An example of the PDF and the annotation text is shown, with the “-1” converted to just “1”. Clearly, this makes for a different interpretation.
Welcome to our forum, @Jeff_Kimbrel, and thanks for the report. The team was able to reproduce so this is now on their queue of things to address for the PDF viewer. If I get any updates, I’ll share them here!
Thanks, I appreciate it. I noticed I can manually edit the text annotations, which is a “good enough” solution for now.
It seems to work sometimes, as this extreme example demonstrates (from a different PDF), but I will be vigilant about verifying the text matches in the future.
