Hello There,
I was hoping you could add the APA type of “Image”. Please see here for an example: http://www.landmark.edu/library/citation-guides/landmark-college-citation-guides/apa-citation-style-guide/#Images .
If this is not possible it would be cool if I could use a different type and force text into the wrong fields.
Thanks!

Hi.
That is a tricky one, which Paperpile does not cover at the moment. The workaround that comes closest to the result is to make a new “Website” entry in Paperpile, and to put “[Photograph]” into the title. Put the retrieved date into the field “Date accessed” and the URL into the URL field.
Best,
Andreas

Thanks for the workaround. I can imagine as researchers and academia get more comfortable with citing media found online, this might become a handy feature. It might be handy to add a primary type of “Media” and have the sub-type list contain: “Image” (https://sites.google.com/a/colgate.edu/colgatevr/citing-images/citing-images-apa ), “Video File” (http://blog.apastyle.org/apastyle/2011/10/how-to-create-a-reference-for-a-youtube-video.html ), and “Podcast” (https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/10/ ).
Thanks much!
