Listing their full name, affiliations, DOB, number of pubblications saved, etc

Could you tell us a bit more about what you’d like in an “authors section”? Are you looking for something like an “Author profile” view inside Paperpile, where instead of just seeing an author’s name in the metadata, you’d see a richer information panel that shows more author details? Understanding your use case will help us evaluate this request better.
In case this is helpful: You can already search and filter your library by author to quickly see all the papers you’ve saved by a particular researcher. In the search box, type author: followed by the author’s name to see all papers by that author in your library. The authors under any reference title are clickable: click the name to view all papers by them. Finally you can use Quick lookup to quickly find all papers by that author; just start typing the author name:
Hi Suzanne, that would be the main idea. To check the amount of publications from a given author for example, seeing with which they collaborated in the past or on a specific topic, affilitaions, main themes discussed, etc
