When I want to add a new reference on android I cannot paste into search field. Is it designed like this?

It is not, @Petro - pasting is enabled in that search field. Are you still unable to?
A theory: there is this thing in Android where the copied text appears as an auto-suggestion above the keyboard, which disables the long-tap menu might be causing issues on your end. The team shared this video which might clear things up - let us know otherwise.
it looks like an issue with Grammarly keyboard.
Thanks for the follow-up! We’ve had reports of the Grammarly extension causing issues on our webapp, but not on mobile. Will keep this in mind.
