Hello! I’ve noticed that I’m no longer able to drag-and-drop reorder citations in Google Docs. When I insert a citation or update one, everything works as normal except that I am unable to drag and drop the chips to reorder them as I have in the past. I’m only able to reorder them by deleting them all and then entering them in the order I want them to appear—which is a bit laborious. Is this a change or a bug? Any assistance is welcomed. (I’ve already tried turning the plugin off and on again and uninstalling and reinstalling it.)
Thank you for your report and for sharing the screenshot, @akvbroek. You’re not doing anything wrong; this is a known issue with the current Google Docs plugin. Reordering of the blue citation bubbles is temporarily unavailable, which is why re-inserting them is the only workaround at the moment.
Our team is aware of the problem and it will be addressed in the new Google Docs plugin we’re planning to release later this year.
