It would be amazing to be able to directly ask ChatGPT questions about a PDF research article.
There are many platforms, such as https://www.chatdoc.com/, to do so/. However, they are not possible to use with the research articles in Paperpile.
Right now, I need to download and re-upload the PDF to ChatDoc or ChatGPT to ask brief questions about the paper.

all you need is the citation and ChatGPT does this easily. No need to download the PDF
Unfortunately not. ChatGPT rarely has access to the domains, the PDF is hosted, no proxy, no academic subnet access, and also often ChatGPT will still just hallucinate what COULD’ve been in the PDF, rather than what actually is.
