in the course of the last 3-4 days, the paperpile chrome extension keeps logging out and i need to constantly log back in when i need to save a doc or use a shortkey in google doc to insert a citation. is it just me? (mac os, the latest chrome, stable channel)
This is most likely caused by the Ghostery extension - or perhaps some other extension which is deleting your cookies. Some users have had luck adding exceptions for Paperpile and Google Docs, but if that does not work for you, then I suggest disabling it.

you might try using Privacy Badger (https://www.eff.org/privacybadger/faq). It seems to use more intelligence about what tracking things it allows through v blocks.
