I’m reviewing the references in my manuscript, using the “View all references” menu item. However, it looks like this is the list of all the references from every draft of the manuscript, not just the current draft. Is there a way quickly clean this up, removing those references which are no longer cited in line?
Make a copy of the document (File --> Make a copy…), then format citations in the new document. This will create a new document-specific library with only the papers actually cited therein.
Note that you will also lose the document history.
Thanks. Although I was hoping to avoid the nuclear option…
