Clickable in-text citations when exporting Word document as a PDF

Hello,

I am working on a Word document and would like to know if it’s possible to make in-text citations clickable, such that when I convert the document to a PDF, clicking on a citation will take me to the respective entry in the bibliography. This is similar to the feature in EndNote, which works like the links in a Table of Contents.

I haven’t been able to find information on this, so any guidance would be appreciated.

Welcome to our forum @Nicole_Eischer, and thank you for your question! Linking in-text citations to bibliography items is not something Paperpile supports right now, and it’s not on our roadmap at the moment. I’ve added your +1 to our internal feature tracker so the team knows that this is something that users want to see.

+1 for this feature.

It can be done if you use citation keys and pandoc but it would be nice to do so from the Paperpile tool.
