Export PDF with highlights and annotations overlay

In adobe reader, one can export/print pdfs with the highlights and comments next to the original pdf content. https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/acrobat/kb/print-comments-acrobat-reader.html#:~:text=Document%20And%20Markups

It would be nice to have this feature in paperpile, so that I can share my notes in context of the paper. It’s not as helpful to have all the notes at the end. Is this something that you can implement?

Welcome to our community, @slb! We understand it would be useful to display annotations on the margin when printing and exporting PDFs. I’ve added your +1 to the topic on our internal feature tracker for the team to consider at a later date.
