Is there a way to filter papers that are untagged by an existing label?
For example, if I have a label called “Mechanical”, clicking the label will show me all papers tagged with “Mechanical”. What I want to do is to filter papers not labelled by “Mechanical”, but not necessarily completely unlabelled.
Welcome to our forum, @Kirk! Though you can now exclude search terms by typing ! in the search bar, it is not yet possible to exclude specific labels or folders. I’ve added your +1 to the topic on our tracker.
In the meantime, a negative folder/label can be created by adding all papers to a folder, then going to the label you want to exclude, selecting all papers in there, and using the top ribbon menu to remove the papers from the other folder. This will not stay updated when you add more papers, but should be useful in a pinch.
