Footnotes at the end of the document

Hi. In looking for a way to move my footnotes to the end of a document, this help thread lead me to install Paperpile, but I am having trouble figuring out how to do this. Can anybody help?

Thanks in advance,
Jonathan

Thanks for reaching out, Jonathan. With Paperpile you can insert citations and create a bibliography at the end of your document, but we have no control over your document’s footnotes. I’m afraid I don’t have any helpful advice to share.

Jonathan did you find a way to do it as I am in the same predicament?

I’m afraid i did not! I still hope to find a solution!

This is a very late reply: but there is a Google Docs addon called “Endnote Generator” that will do this for you.

Alternatively, you can download the Google Doc as docx or odt, and open it in Word or LibreOffice; then, within those more powerful word-processors, you can switch the footnotes to endnotes.
