Grouping in-line citations

I’m using the Paperpile extension for google docs and I’m citing in JAMA format. At times I want to use three or more consecutive references for a topic. The inline citations currently appear like this:

Here are some facts 3 4 5 6

I’d prefer for them to appear like this:

Here are some facts 3-6

When I manually try to do this, I end up deleting citations in between. Is there a way to get them to display as an aggregate instead of individually?

Welcome to the Paperpile forum, @TSOnly! You can insert multiple references into a single in-text citation by using the search bar in the citation options that appear when hitting “Ctrl + Shift + P”/clicking the P “Insert Citation” button or when clicking an existing citation in Google Docs:
