Is it possible to make a collection of the references cited in a paper (word file) in paperpile on the WEB. Anyone knows how to do this??
Welcome to the forum @Tomohiro_Hayashi! There isn’t currently a way to add references cited in a Word document to a folder or label in Paperpile. But I can offer some workarounds. If a collaborator shared the Word document with you and the references were created with Paperpile’s Word plugin, in the Paperpile menu in Word, you can go to Settings and Tools > Document Settings and click on the Change ownership… button to add the references to your library.
In Document Settings, you can also click on the Export button to export the references to RIS or BibTeX format, which you can then import to your Paperpile library via Add > Upload files…
Alternatively, you can copy the references in the Word document and paste them as plain text into the web app via Add > Paste, which gets the metadata of the references and lets you import them to your library.
Nevertheless I’ve also added your +1 for this request in our internal feature tracker for consideration at a later date.
