Same need! My google storage is almost full.
Can it be done recently? The google drive is so expensive. Thanks!
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread. Iām happy to announce that OneDrive sync is in private beta, which will allow you to sync your Paperpile library to OneDrive.
See our help page for more details: Sync with OneDrive | Paperpile Help Center
If youād like to give OneDrive sync a try, please reply to this thread or send an email to support@paperpile.com and Iāll be happy to invite you to the beta.
Thanks @suzanne, I got OneDrive sync enabled. It seems to be working. Itās taking time to sync, and I came across a sync error just now. The app instructed me to try again. Iām currently trying this out with my personal MS 365 OneDrive account.
But on my academic OneDrive (MS 365 Edu provided by my university), it seems we need IT admin-level approval to allow Paperpile to sync. I primarily want to use this with my academic account obviously. Iām just a single user though, so Iām not sure if IT adminās would be OK to make an exception just for me. Is there anyway around this?
Thanks for testing OneDrive sync and for the detailed report, @kurisu. Regarding the sync error on your personal account, could you try again and let us know if it persists? If it does, please share the specific error message with the time it occurred with support@paperpile.com so we can look into it.
For your academic OneDrive account, unfortunately admin-level approval is a Microsoft requirement on their end, so there isnāt a way for us to bypass it technically. Your IT administrator will need to enable the Paperpile app in your institutionās Microsoft account. Hopefully this would be a fairly standard app approval request; weāre happy to provide any information your IT team might need to evaluate it. Just let us know.
