Hi, I have an ‘old’ folder with some sub-folders and files that are not relevant to my current project, but which I do not want to delete.
However, when I add a new paper to paperpile using the chrome extension, I can see all these sub-folders as options, which is really cluttered. Is there a way to ‘hide’ my ‘old’ folder and everything in it, so it won’t pop up when I go to add a new paper to folders?
Thanks for your question, @gradeseparation. There isn’t currently a way to hide folders and subfolders you aren’t currently using in the extension popup, but I’ve recorded your feedback for consideration.
Instead of scrolling through the dropdown list, you can start typing in the name of the folder to search for the one that you want to add the reference to, or you can pin folders and labels you are currently working with as the default for saving new references, which prevents the need for scrolling and searching for folders:
