Issues with Copying Notes using Ctrl+C in New Paperpile Version

Dear Paperpile Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out to address an issue I’ve been experiencing with the latest version of Paperpile. Previously, I often used the Ctrl+C keyboard shortcut to copy notes directly from the app. However, since the recent update, there seems to be a change in this functionality.

Now, when I try to copy notes using Ctrl+C, instead of copying the note’s content, the system copies the associated bibliographic reference. This is quite inconvenient as it forces me to use the right-click and select ‘Copy’ method, which disrupts my workflow and reduces efficiency.

The quick note-copying function is crucial for my research and documentation process, and this current difficulty is impacting my productivity. Could you please look into this issue and resolve it? Is there a way to restore the previous Ctrl+C functionality for copying notes, or is there a setting I can adjust to rectify this issue?

Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter and I look forward to your prompt response.

Best regards,
Daniel

Thank you for bringing this to our attention @Daniel_Cebrian_Roble. Do you meant you used to use Ctrl-C to copy a note when you had the note box open? There isn’t currently a way to use Ctrl-C to copy notes from the new Paperpile. I’ve shared your feedback with the team.

Yes, that’s exactly what I was referring to. I used to use Ctrl-C to copy a note when I had the note box open in the previous version of Paperpile. I appreciate you sharing my feedback with the team. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
