Hi, I am happily using Paperpile for some time now, but have a (fairly deep) paper cut with it.
Sometimes I want a citation with multiple papers. Most times I get that right, but sometimes when moving stuff or whatever I end up with adjacent individual citations.
I then have to look up the first citation, go to the second as active citation, search and click “cite” to get that into the second. Very tedious.
Instead, I would love to select a region containing a set of citations, and have Paperpile join them all into a single citation.
Or is there an easier way that already exists and that I missed ?
Yours, Steffen
Crap, my initial search for “join” or “combine” citations missed
which is the exact feature I am looking for. Yours, Steffen
Thanks for the request and the clarification, Steffen - glad you found that other thread. Although old, this and every other feature request is still active and relevant for us to consider, so I’ve added your +1 to the topic on our internal tracker.
Don’t hesitate to reach out again if there’s anything else, be it here or via chat/email. Cheers.
