Links between papers

This may have been requested before although I cannot find recent mention. It would be great to have some way of linking papers that are closely related, such as an editorial that covers an original paper, or maybe a series of papers that describe a single clinical study. The former can be achieved by adding a link to the main paper in the editorial entry notes, and the latter by having common tags (e.g. SCOT-HEART), but the former is quite clumsy, needing to copy the link to open it in a new Paperpile window.

I know that Reference Manager has the linking facility, but can it be achieved in Paperpile more easily?

Thanks for your request, @srunderwood. You’ve thought of all the workarounds using labels and notes, and we agree that they are rather clunky, and it’d be useful to have an easier way of linking references. I’ve added your +1 for linking related references to our internal feature tracker for consideration by the team at a later date.
