Migrate Endnote Citations - All Errors

I’m in the predicament of having my co-author use Endnote while I use Paperpile; both in Word. We are making the final edits today, so I asked him to follow the instructions here ( How to migrate EndNote citations in MS Word to Paperpile | Paperpile ) and send me the file to convert. When I converted, however, every single citation yielded [Citation error]. Even though I have the same references in PP. I did not import his EN citations before converting because our libraries overlap a lot and I was just planning on adding any of his that I don’t have manually.
Is there something I’m missing? Why didn’t the tool work for me?

@captglasspac, is this still the case? Have you re-attempted the process from scratch, perhaps after restarting both MS Word and our plug-in? If that still doesn’t work, we might need to look at the actual document in order to reproduce on our end. If privacy’s a concern, you can share copy without most of the text – just the citation links – via chat or email (support@paperpile.com). Let me know.

Thanks for the response Vicente. I never could get it to work, but I don’t actually have EndNote on my computer, and my coauthor doesn’t have Paperpile on his. We’re also at different institutes. So it was too much of a hassle to try to troubleshoot. When I have a chance, I will try to reproduce it and send you the file.
