Is there a way to make modifiers appear at the beginning of the in-text citation list rather than connecting them to individual citations? Here’s an example. The journal I’m submitting to uses “Vancouver” style with is a numbered citation style that makes references look like so:
…what scientific questions they were able to examine with it (2–5)
If I want to stick an “e.g.,” before that list of citations, here’s what happens when I modifier the first one that will show up:
…issues that social media data raise (see e.g., 10,11–15)
I want that to look like this instead:
…issues that social media data raise (see e.g., 10–15)
Is that possible?
