I am using the Microsoft Word plugin.
Citations in which author names have a non english character are displayed incorrectly e.g:
Glenthøj LB
is displayed as
GlenthU+00f8j LB
Any advice?
Welcome to our forum, @Rob_McCutcheon! Thanks for the report. Have you tried deleting and re-adding the in-text citations (formatting after each change) to see if the issue persists? We’re waiting to hear back from our Word specialist for more insight – he was not in today but will be back on Monday.
In the meantime, it might be helpful if you could reproduce the issue by inserting some or all of the affected citations in a blank doc and sharing that with us. Can be via chat/email as well (support@paperpile.com).
@Rob_McCutcheon we have not been able to reproduce this issue on our end – has it continued happening for you? If so, could you let us know which citation style you are using?
Thanks Vicente - I deleted and replaced the citations and that seems to have fixed it. Will post here if it happens again
