Idea: provide users with an option whereby “Auto-update” improvements can be automatically propagated as they become available?
Motivation: the metadata available for articles improves over time. Many users are likely retrieving the same updates for articles. Instead of having very many users each (manually) retrieve check for & retrieve these updates, it would be nice if paperpile had the ability to “push” improvements to all users who have an article in their collection, and have opted in to receive such updates.
This assumes that paperpile is currently maintaining some db of metadata for articles, which may not be the case.
Just a thought.
