Paperpile extension crashes Vivaldi browser

Created a new profile in Vivaldi (to ensure a clean testing slate) and installed the latest Paperpile extension. I click on the “Sign in to Paperpile” button and Vivaldi crashes – it simply closes with visible error message.

To get around this, I manually go to the Paperpile website and sign in. The extension detects my login session and the extension seems to work fine so far.

Specs:

  • macOS Sonoma 14.5
  • Paperpile version 1.5.733
  • Vivaldi version 6.8.3381.50 (Stable channel) (arm64)

Thanks for reporting @kurisu. The team has reproduced the issue and it will be addressed in a future extension update.
