I uploaded PDF papers to my site and am trying to add them as citations to the document by pasting the link directly into the search box, but Paperpile refuses to parse them.
Usually, Paperpile parses links very nicely, but not my links to PDFs.
For example, it refuses to Parse this link https://dnaresonance.org/m/Rempel_2017_Electrodynamics.pdf
It would be nice to parse the link and convert it into a citation.
PDF parsing is more art than science. Please add PDFs first to your library before citing them as you will likely need to adjust the metadata. There is little pint in citing “2017_DNA_Electodynamics.pdf”, which is how many imported PDFs can end up if they do not contain a relatively narrow range of identifying data.
In addition, that link appears to lead to a missing page.
