This seems like a pretty obscure request, but I know at least for me it would be helpful to insert pictures as an annotation to a paper. I often find myself pulling tables and graphics from other works to assist with calculations preformed in a paper.
Alternatively, if you could add the option to add hyperlinks as annotations so that I can simply click a link rather than having to attempt to copy and paste a text link to the DOI or website I’m trying to access.

Indeed, @Colton_Breyer, it seems like the request to insert external pictures as annotations had not come up before, so I’ve added the feedback to our tracker for the team to consider if feasible. As for hyperlinks, I trust @heumed’s accurate advice was useful.
+1 on this. It comes to me that image annotation is a great way to put more context to the annotation. Like, I can do screenshot of what I chat with ChatGPT and put that as a side note on the PDF etc, which I find very useful.
