Given a BibTeX entry, it is very difficult to find the corresponding entry in Paperpile. It would be immensely easier if Paperpile wrote the Paperpile URL into the BibTeX output. It could be put in a custom field, to avoid conflicting with existing fields. That way, it would still be accessible to software tools and human readers.
