[Resolved] Combine superscript citations 1,2,3,4 to 1-4

I am trying to add references on a google doc using paperpile. at the end of a sentence I have reference numbers 1,2,3,4 in a superscript (Nature style) I am trying to make them appear as 1-4. How can I do that?

Nature style will do this for you automatically. Just keep adding references to a single position in the document, choose Nature style and update the document.

The important thing is not to add 4 independent citations but only one with the four references belonging together. This is how it looks in case you are using our free sidebar add-on. Below you see how this looks if you have the Chrome extension installed:
