Safari paperpile bu'g

Safari keeps prompting me to install the Paperpile extension, but I’ve already installed it, and there’s no yellow exclamation mark on the Paperpile icon.

Sorry about the inconvenience, @yank.tenyond. This may be that the Paperpile web app is detecting that the extension isn’t fully connected, even though it’s installed.

A few things to try:

  • Make sure the extension is enabled in Safari > Settings > Extensions and that Paperpile is checked.
  • Check that permissions are set to Always Allow on Every Website: go to Safari > Settings > Websites and confirm Paperpile has access.
  • Try quitting and restarting Safari completely (not just closing the window).

If you’re still seeing the prompt after that, could you send us a message at support@paperpile.com or contact us through the in-app messenger? That way, we can troubleshoot with you directly.
