The title says it. I am searching for papers in my library by author, and literally nothing happens. It doesn’t matter if I hit return (although that sometimes causes a pdf of an unrelated paper to open in a separate tab in chrome).

Just to make sure we’re looking in the right place: are you experiencing this issue when searching within your Paperpile library in the web app, or when searching for references to cite in Google Docs / Word? And does it also happen when you try an online search in the web app?
One of our product team members checked your account and didn’t see any search requests reaching our search servers, which suggests the browser may not be sending them correctly.
Can you try the following:
- Reload the Paperpile tab
- Restart the browser (in Chrome, you can type
chrome://restartin the address bar and the browser will restart and reopen all your tabs of the current profile). - Sign out of Paperpile and sign in again.
If the issue persists, please contact our team at support@paperpile.com so that we can investigate further.
I tried it again today and things seem to be working normal. Thanks for checking on this; it’s possible it was a chrome issue as you say.
