Hi everyone,
I’m finishing my master’s degree and I’m currently double checking the references.
I have 2 citations from the same authors in the same year. I guess the APA style mandates that the Author + Year should be followed by letters (a,b,c…) whenever this happens. Unfortunately, that’s not happening with Paperpile, and I’m not able to do it manually.
Welcome to the forum @Jose_Fonseca. APA style guidelines requires that for references with the same author(s) and publication year, a lowercase letter must be added after the year and these are assigned alphabetically by title in the reference list. Are you using the Word or the Google Docs plugin to format your reference list? Have you made sure that the author metadata for both references match exactly in your Paperpile library?
