The paperpile becomes very slow in performance when try to read certain papers.
Such papers include read [2205.01508] Compact Neural Networks via Stacking Designed Basic Units.
I confirmed in several machines.
What’s the cause of the poor performance and how can I fix this?
Thank you very much!
Welcome to the forum @Keisuke_MUROTA. I’m sorry to hear about this issue. I saved this reference, opened it, made some annotations, and I did not observe any issues. What OS/devices are you using? What kind of slow performance are you observing? Is it when you open the PDF, make annotations on the PDF, or something else? Any more details and and/or screenshots/screen recordings you can provide would be helpful, which you can share here, via the in app messenger, or by emailing support@paperpile.com.
I’m sorry for confusion. I actually put the wrong reference.
The correct one is with arxiv reference : 2103.09146
The titile is “Compact Neural-network Quantum State representations of Jastrow and Stabilizer states”
Can you please try with this again?
Thank you for sharing the reference, @Keisuke_MUROTA. The team tried viewing this PDF in the PDF viewer in the old app and they observed slow behavior when scrolling. But when they viewed this PDF in the new app, they did not observe slow performance. In June, we will release a completely rewritten version of Paperpile’s web app and browser extension. The new app and extension is now in public beta so all users can try it out if they wish.
Can you try switching to the new Paperpile by going to https://app.paperpile.com? Wait for your library to load and sync; then try viewing this PDF in the new app. Let me know how this goes for you.

Thank you very much! I confirmed that no latency has been observed on the paper as well as others!
Appreciate for your great job.
