"There was an error" when importing a PDF

I’m getting the helpful message “There was an error” when trying to import a PDF; see screenshot below. I can’t seem to find any information about the error and have no idea why I cannot import the PDF. Any help appreciated!

The easiest way is via the in-app messenger (click the question mark on the bottom right of the web app and select Contact support), or you can email it to support@paperpile.com.
