I will write a paper together with a friend, and we plan on using google docs. Is it possible to use paperpile together (I have paid for it)?

Welcome to our forum, @Askar_Andersson! If your friend doesn’t want to sign up for a trial, they could use our free sidebar add-on to insert and edit citations in Google Docs. This won’t give them access to your account, but will allow for collaboration in Docs.
I’m not sure if there’ll be any significant downsides to both using the account you purchased, just keep in mind sharing access to Paperpile entails sharing access to the Google account associated with it.
