Word Plugin VBA and macros

Hello,

When do you think we might see a transition of the beta word plugin into a fully integrated Office Add-in? My institution issued MacBook has an MDM office profile that does not allow VBA or macros to be run and so the Paperpile.dotm can’t be run.

Paperpile’s interaction with word needs to go through the office add-in store not be a stand-alone vba or macro based .dotm that many word installations will block.

Thanks for your feedback, @AllanAnthro. Implementation of an Office add-in is a long-term goal for Paperpile as we understand some institutions block our Word plugin. However, I don’t have a timeline to share with you yet.
