Zoom-in PDF Viewer

Hi,

This error was indicated time back. When pinch-zooming, the zoom-in also magnifies the topbar and the result is a pixelated document. Proper zoom-in is only achieved by clicking the + icon. Zoom-out is alright.

PDF viewer: recognize pinch-to-zoom on touch screens

On my Chromebook with a touchscreen, pinch-zooming on PDFs in Chrome doesn’t work (thanks to this issue). I was hoping that the Paperpile viewer would correctly capture multi-touch gestures but it doesn’t: it zooms the entire viewport and introduces pixelation, just like the native viewer. I notice that what’s being rendered is an HTML page of some kind, and there are tons of JavaScript libraries that make recognizing these gestures easy. It would be a big, big help if Paperpile could correctly…

We are looking into that. I agree, in principle, catching the pinch events and linking them up to the zoom in/out actions we already have should not be that hard. Usually, the devil is the details.

btw we just released a big update to the PDF annotator. Quite a few features requested in the forum made it already in the product. Thanks for your feedback!
