Stefan, when I do this, it shows the author name page in parenthesis next to footnote at bottom of page and puts the full citation at the end of the document. It doesn’t show the citation next to the footnote as I want. How do I do this?
This is very frustrating. Someone, please help.
You need to select a style that supports footnotes. You clearly have a chosen a style that is meant for in-text citations not footnotes, e.g. e.g. “Modern Language Association 6th edition (note)”
It’s set on Chicago…
Update: I didn’t notice there was “note” version of Chicago. Thank you for your help.
