Creating In-Text Citation Directly from Paperpile Homepage

Hello everyone. Is it possible to insert a citation WITHIN the text of your manuscript directly from the Paperpile homepage? I have tried copying the citation from my Paperpile library and pasting into my google document, however instead of adding the citation, it only pastes the entire reference. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Welcome to our forum, @emoryuro! The Ctrl-C citation feature from the library only generates full bibliographical references at the moment. The ability to create in-text citations from the library has been requested before, so I’ve added your +1 to the topic on our tracker. In the meantime, as you’re likely aware, citations can be inserted to Google Docs via our extension citing feature.

Hi Vicente,

i would like to know, if the in - text reference tool, is enabled to work ?

Cheers
Mo

Welcome to our forum, Mo! Generating in-text citations directly from the library is not possible yet — only directly in GDocs or MS Word. I’ve added your +1 to the topic on our tracker for the team’s consideration.
